Jellyseerr is my platform to request new content. It's available here and shares its credentials with Jellyfin.
Please now that I may delete some requests for the following reasons :
- TV shows. By nature, they will be more episodes and I do not want to see it hanging in "pending" forever. But new episodes will still be downloaded
- Content that I couldn't find evenu manually and will not likely be available in the future (old movies for example). If content was only recently released, I'll keep it for a reasonable amount of time
¶ Search for new content
If you're not searching for something specific, you can browse Discover, Movies and TV shows tabs to look at what's going on.
If you know exactly what you want, just search it with the top bar. You'll land on a list of possible results. When you hover the mouse on a result, you can see a request button if the content is nowhere on my system.
You can also search for an actor, director, etc.. When you click on his/her name, you'll see the whole filmography of that person. Potentially also when they were voice actors.
A green tick means the movie is already available, violet when it has been requested. Or you will find the Request button
Please pay attention that you have chosen the correct language.
If you're requesting a TV show, I'd suggest to tick the whole series so new episodes will be fetched too.
If you go on the Requests tab you'll see a list of all your requests and their status.
¶ Report an issue
You can also submit an issue about a movie, a wwhole series or a single episode.
If your content is already on Jellyfin but with a wrong language, you cannot request it again. So, please, also submit an issue.
Before asking for a new language, check that you were browsing manually in the correct category in Jellyfin.
You do this by clicking on the yellow triangle after having searched for the content.
Describe your issue, select the season if needed and submit
